This is a rectangular furnace which contains Retort.The raw ammonia from cylinder is first reduced to 0.5KG/CM2 through press regulators and then preheated in an economizer. Ammonia gets cracked when it comes in contact with Ni- catalyst in retort above 8500C.

* The hot gas is cooled down in a shell & tube type heat exchanger. This cracked gas may contain traces of un-cracked Ammonia and hidden moisture.

This is a machine that is used to purify the cracked ammonia coming out from the ammonia cracker; it removes the un-cracked ammonia and the moisture up to the desired level. Due to the application of this final product gas comes out from the purifier with desired parameters.
