The nodal agency of the Government of India, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) is organising the 27th India International Trade Fair ( IITF) in the capital at Pragati Maidan from November 14 to 27.

The annual event provides a common platform for the manufacturers, traders, exporters and importers. The India International Trade Fair (IITF 2007) being a multi-product exhibition has on display a wide range of products and services.

The exhibitors includes Coir Products, Jute, Textiles, Garments, Household Appliance, Kitchen Appliances, Processed food, Beverages, Confectionery, Drugs, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Cosmetics, Bodycare & Health care products, Telecommunication, Power sector, Electronic Sector, Furniture, Home Furnishings, Sports Goods, Toys, Engineering Goods etc.

The fair is open for every industry and general visitors. Professionals related to the following industries: Agriculture, Biotechnology, Chemicals, Electronic Goods, IT, Food & Beverages, Leather, Pharmaceutical, Telecom, Textiles etc.

However, to mark its 27 profitable years, ITPO this time will be having Processed Food and Agro Industries as special theme.

IITF 2006 attracted more than 7,500 Indian companies and 350 overseas companies from 34 countries. Over 3,00,000 business visitors 3 million general visitors visited the 14 day event.

The 2007 edition is expected to have more participation and greater response, generating more business.

India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) organises fairs and exhibitions in India and abroad, buyer-seller meets, contact promotion programmes, product promotion programmes, promotion through overseas department stores, market surveys and information dissemination.
