The Jammu and Kashmir Handicrafts (S&E) Corporation has so far sold about 2000 head-scarves worth Rs 8.60 lakh at its stall of Arts Emporium at the India International Trade Fair-2007 (IITF2007) being held at Pragati Maidan, in New Delhi.

Chairman, J&K Handicrafts (S&E) Corporation, Haji Abdul Rashid, according to an official statement, visited the stall recently and appreciated the staff for hardworking.

He said at a time when head-scarves are getting popularized as a sartorial choice, the corporation is trying to reach out to this niche clientele.
