Some of new buyers usually ask for inspection certificate and quality authentication. Can anyone tell me what they mean?

Inspection certificates are normally issued by the the inspection agencies. In India, BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) issues certificates for most of the items whether electrical or cement and many more items like these.
Similarly for food items, a different agency issues "Agmark" certificate which can be seen on the packagings of standardized items. Similarly, chemicals have their own certification criteria. In international trade, some inspection agencies are well recognized agencies like SGS whose certificates are accepted by the overseas buyer.
By insisting on these certificates, the overseas buyers only want to assure themselves that they are going to buy the right products with right specifications and right quality standards as per their requirements.
