Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC), the apex body of engineering exporters in India will be organising three-day India Engineering Meet & Exhibition (IEME) from 9th to 11th January 2008 in Hyderabad.
Mr Rakesh Shah, Chairman, EEPC while announcing the three day mega event in the city said that India Engineering Meet & Exhibition 2008 will create an exchange platform for the Global Industry seeking innovative and latest engineering products from India.
It will also play a leading and enabling role bringing all the innovative technologies together to achieve a modern and technology oriented manufacturing industry in India, Mr Shah said.
The Chairman also announced a two day Global Conference on Engineering Process Outsourcing (EPO), coinciding with the event and attended by users of India’s design and technology is planned to coincide with this exposition.
He made special reference to the strategy paper for growth of Engineering Process Outsourcing from India which was commissioned by the Council and the potential of Indian EPO market which is estimated to be as big as US$ 30 billion by the year 2015.
The second such event organised by the Council, IEME 2008 will be held at Hitex Fair Grounds in Hyderabad.
The Exposition will showcase at least 100 Indian Manufacturers and Exporters primarily from SME’s Sector and more than 60 Exhibitors from Overseas countries who will display their product range primarily aimed towards the manufacturing sector of the Engineering Industry.
Besides, more than 150 Buyers from all over the world will be invited and B 2 B Meetings will be arranged between them and their Indian counterparts.
The EEPC Chairman informed that the event will highlight India’s most innovative and dynamic technology companies seeking to offer engineering solutions to the global industry.
