You can asked the company's other clients ,it is better if it has clients in india.for example,we have clients in India, and also many indian companies have agent in China ,so they know the company very well.and also you can see his company's website ,there must be the address on it

This is a fake company and this scam has been going on for the past couple of years. Do not go to China as it is a waste of time and money. If he is a genuine buyer then he should come to india and check your facilities whether you can supply the material or not and then give the advance amount. Why do you have to go to China for signing the contract. When you reach there, they will ask you to buy expensive gifts etc for their Chairman/Bank Manager so that transfer of advance is sanctioned and after paying all that money for the gifts and the trip, there will be no response from them after you come back to India.

Hi,

You will find Trade/Commercial attache in Chinese consulate in India. You can verify the given chinese company in their register
(as most of them are registered with chamber of commerce in their respective cities) and ask for their business standing.

This looks to be false as this is the modus operandi they do and when you reach there they will sign only if you give them some extra money for signing. But after that no advance will be given and you will be cheated. So ask for advance before going there. If you get the advance then only go to china for signing, etc. otherwise not.

It is difficult.

May be you can ask them to visit India and see your facility and sign contract documents here. You may even give rebate to the extent of their expenses if feasible.
This way you can reduce the concern in case they do not sign contract.

I feel so ashamed to be a Chinese sometimes, as this country is leading to the wrong direction, people see only money but not moral. I wish someday Chinese people, especially Chinese businessman become aware of this and start to refresh their image in international market.

I have also seen their contract and one of the most dangerous comment of contract is "by any chance shipping date is delayed by one day, you have to pay double the amount of advance given." Other than this there are few more points which I have never seen in any contract. Be careful.
