Q. Are Basmati rice and Jasmine rice same?

Basmati rice is
predominantly grown in India and Pakistan while Jasmine rice is grown in
Thailand. Like Basmati Jasmine rice is also known for its strong aroma.
However there are some different in physical properties. Basmati rice is more
chewy and dry upon cooking than Jasmine rice which is more moist and soft.
