IEICOS Hitech Wind Tunnels are designed to have very low level of Turbulence, excellent distribution of velocity throughout the working section.

Flow quality is unaffected by the presence of external draughts and obstructions, and the proximity of surrounding wall and ceilings.

Considerable operational flexibility, enabling the test section to be expanded without affecting flow quality

Exceptionally low noise in blowers compared to axial flow fans required to generate same velocity.

No trace of blade passage frequency in the tunnels turbulent spectrum when used with blowers when compared with tunnels with axial flow fans. Hence minimized possibility of organ pipe resonances occurring in various duct elements. Ability to tolerate extensive model blockage without inducing stall at the blower blades
