Welding Control Station

This welding control station is an electrical controlled weld tracking system for slow speed welding of L-SAW or ERW pipes.

The main benefit of this arrangement is a low cost solution for accurate weld tracking.

The operator is able to view the weld groove on the screen with the attached camera and the reference light. During the welding process, the operator can shift the pipe weld grove with the motors fixed on the trolley so that the welding torch accurately fills the weld groove.
Controls are provided on the electrical panel to perform the shifting.
