Welding Cable - Is: 9857-1990 Certified Copper & Aluminum, Gpr/hofr Compound Covering, High Conductivity Conductors, Polyester/silicone Separators

We hold specialization in manufacturing IS: 9857-1990 certified, copper and aluminum Welding Cables. Earlier we used to provide our clients with IS: 434 certified VIR coverings, but presently, we are offering our clients with the following categories of IS: 9857-1990 certified welding cables:

1. Cable with General Purpose Rubber compound covering (GPR)
2. Cable with Heat Resistant, Oil Resistant, Fire Retardant compound covering (HOFR).


The manufacturing process of these cables can broadly be classified into :

(a) Conductor:

* Copper Conductor: We use supreme copper conductors which are in accordance with class 6 (Table 4) of IS: 8130. These copper wire conductors are annealed with tin and have high conductivity.
* Aluminum Conductor: The Aluminum Conductor used by us is of the standard of table 6 of IS: 8l30 aluminum wire.


(b) Separator:

The separators that we use are of polyester tape or silicone coated dry paper. We make use of quality made separators, as these are used as a covering for conductors.

(c) Covering: GPR/HOFR

These welding cables with general purpose rubber compound covering are in accordance with Type SEI to IS : 6380, and the cables with heat resistant normal duty Heat Resistant, Oil Resistant, Fire Retardant (HOFR) compound covering compound complies with the requirement of Type SE 3 to IS :6380. As per these standards the covering shall consist of one of the following applied over the conductor and separator.
