In simple words, Water Level indicates the amount of water available in the tank and also indicates whether the tank is full, or hall full or empty. In short, it also indicates the level of water present.

The sensing is done by using a set of 9 probes which are placed at 9 different places at the tank surface, at which, level 9 indicate that The Tank is Full and level 1 indicates The Empty Tank. The sensors acts like a switch.

In water level indicator, the sensor part is fixed inside the tank and some with bolts coming out. Various inputs of the sensors are fed into the brain of the module, and this is the main unit from where you get the information about how much water is present in the tank. Another part is the power supply part, where AC voltage is converted to regulated voltage. And the next part is the indicator part or if provided, the buzzer part, where when the level is fixed up into the tank. Either the buzzer hooks up or Light blinks.
