| Ingredients | Viraday is an antiretroviral tablet used in the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) infection. Manufactured by Cipla Ltd., it is a fixed-dose combination of three antiviral medicines. The medication is also a generic version of the brand-name drug Atripla. Active ingredients: Efavirenz (600 mg): A non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI).Emtricitabine (200 mg): A nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI).Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (300 mg): An NRTI. Mechanism of actionViraday works by inhibiting the reverse transcriptase enzyme, which the HIV virus needs to replicate. By stopping the virus from multiplying, the medication reduces the amount of HIV in the body, which helps strengthen the immune system and lowers the risk of HIV-related complications.
