Salient Features of Vertical Fine Boring Machines :-
* Base, Cross Slide, Table, Column and Boringhead (gear box) are of fine-grained, graded alloy casting. Stress relief after rough achining ensure rugged and vibration free operation of the machine.
* Boring head setting with tapered gibs to avoid vibration and achieve better boring accuracy.
* Auto stop of spindle rotation and rapid return of boring head after completion of boring operation.
* Anti-friction wear resistant liners provided on all sliding surfaces of the boring head to minimise wear and tear.
* Engine block stud need not be removed while boring.
* Tool setting micrometer can be fixed on the boring spindle to achieve accurate tool setting.
* 4 spindle speed and feed combination to achieve better surface finish and fast boring operation.
* Spindle speed gear are hardened and ground
* Manual fine feed hand wheel for counter and chamfering located on the right hand side of the boring head for easy operation.
* Forced lubrication system provided inside gear box.
* Control box for various functions has been provided on the right hand side and at a comfortable position.
* Can bore 'V' type cylinder blocks with universal fixture
* Gear box sliding guideways are fully covered by bellow.
