D- Drive is a variable speed geared motor, robust step less unit suitable for various industrial applications.

The unit is designed to provide low output speed at corresponding high output torque. The drive unit is manufactured from standard components and comprises of AC squirrel cage motor, variable speed drive and gearbox with case hardened profile ground helical gears, it can be easily adapted to any machine design. The unit is very compact and save time and money because they are ready to fit drive modules. The interior part of this drive is the variable speed pulley enclosed in a housing and connected to the gearbox and motor. The speed variation can be achieved by means of a hand wheel. Average life to be expected is about 10 years before major maintenance. Belt life would depend on application and environment. General experience is about 3 to 4 years life.
