The height of the compaction rammer can be quickly switched from 310 to 450mm or vice versa by hand lever. A hammer in two parts adjustable for 2.6 kg for light compaction and 4.89 kg for heavy compaction is supplied as a standard component of the unit. A graduated dial incorporating a micro switch, enables the number of blows to be pre-set before each test and automatically stops the machine on completion.
