Production Process

The feedstock of natural rubber reclaim primarily consists of truck tyre tread peelings. The raw materials are first freed from contaminants. The resultant material, in the form of crumb, is de-vulcanized through a combination of chemical, mechanical and thermal steps to obtain reclaimed rubber with a Mooney Viscosity in the range of 40-60. This reclaim can then be added to a vulcanization system for use as a masterbatch.
