Turnkey Project For Edible Oil Processing

Our organization has undertaken turnkey projects for edible oil processing. We are engaged in refining various oils such as rice bran oil, sunflower, soybean, cotton seed, palm oil and others. These oils are refined keeping in mind the industrial requirement.

The procedures followed for processing of edible oils are:

Degumming:

This process has been developed which utilizes the phenomenon that hydratable phospholipids contains polar groups which form liquid crystal in connection with water. In the total degumming process, oil is mixed with hot water, caustic lye, phosphoric acid in neutralize and is given proper retention time in a retention tank so as to convert all non-hydrated gums to lyso form which forms more stable hydratable gums which can be separated out from the oil by centrifugation. This process has been tried and tested in case of rice bran oil. For other oils like palm & sunflower different route of neutralization, degumming and washing is used as per the feed oil.

Bleaching:

Our organization has supplied over 50 bleaching plants in India, Nepal and USA of different sizes for diverse applications. Quality of our equipment is assured at our manufacturing shops as we deliver world class equipments. Bleaching process is carried out to remove color pigments, residual phosphatides, metals, soaps and oxidation products. To achieve this we carry out bleaching earth and activated carbon bleaching process in two stages in a continuous manner.
