Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) is a process in which the source of heat in an arc formed between a non consumable tungsten electrode and the work piece and the orc and molten puddle are protected from atmosphere (i.e. Oxygen and Nitrogen) with gas shield of inert gas such as Argon helium or Argon helium mixture. The power to the arc is supplied by AC or DC power source having constant current characteristics. High frequency voltage is superimposed on the welding current to provide contact free orc striking and for arc stability. Available at most reasonable prices.

Control Outfits:
These outfits are meant to be connected to any suitable AC / DC power source (depending on welding application and model selected). This consist of :
A water circulation system for closed loop cooling of the torch.
DC suppressor in case of AC units only.
A Gas cooled torch (up to 300 amps) or water cooled torch (for 200 to 600 amps) with accessories.
