AdBlue grade urea is a high-purity urea solution in deionized water used in diesel engines with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. When AdBlue is injected into the exhaust stream of a diesel engine, it reacts with the NOx emissions, converting them into harmless nitrogen and water vapor. AdBlue grade urea has become increasingly important in meeting emissions regulations for diesel vehicles.
