GENERAL INFORMATION
LY S 661 is styrene-acrylate copolymer dispersion with low viscosity. It shows high stability towards chemical and mechanical influences and a low tendency to foam.
APPLICATION
The typical dosage of LY S 661 is 2-5% (active/dry starch), which is roughly equal to 0.5~1.7 kg/paper ton. The product is a dispersion polymer and it is not sensitive to pH variations. Anti- foaming agent is not usually needed. The product is anionic a it retains easily and remains on a surface of the paper/board, especially in applications where the surface size used is an oxidised or entzymaticly converted starch. As an anionic product, in the applications with OBA, it will not cause OBA invalid, can be added directly.
For certain application, the usage of LY S 661 should also follow the operating instructions of our company.
SAFETY
LYARS 661 may be stimulated to skin and eyes, it is recommended to use gloves and protective glasses when use. If come into direct contact with eyes or skin, immediately rinse with plenty of water at least 15 minutes.
