The sound source integrated into the case, a stand-alone buzzer on a battery, is equipped with a detector that can cut the generation of sound when opening the case. Cela avoids disturbing the experiences of other students when opening the case to study the sound
attenuation of another material.
Two wall passages allow introducing the microphone of the sound level meter in the room deaf.
The case is delivered with a set of screens of different materials and thicknesses to compare their absorbency.
