Strontium Hydroxide is a chemical compound composed of one strontium ion and two hydroxide ions, which is a white or deliquescent crystalline in nature. This dull white crystalline powder is easily soluble in water, very slightly soluble in ethyl and acetone solution. Strontium Hydroxide exists in anhydrous, monohydrate or octahydrate form and is air sensitive that can get damaged in moisture.
