Having advantage of automatic setting of switching timings irrespective of whether it is winter or summer, it is a completely unmanned operation. After setting the particular ambient light level, there is no need to change it again throughout the years.

Ambient light Sensitivity Adjustment:
- Through adjustable potentiometer
- The sensitivity of the Light sensor increases as the Potentiometer is moved clockwise from min to max.
- If the sensitivity potentiometer is set at minimum level the Controller Relay will turn ON only when there is complete darkness.
- The potentiometer can be moved clockwise to turn the Controller Relay ON at desired ambient light level.
- If the sensitivity potentiometer is moved to the extreme MAX position the Controller Relay can be turned on during DAY-time also.)
Sensor Mounting Precautions:
- While mounting the sensor care should be taken that the sensor will be pointing to darkness even when the Street light has Turned ON.
- This is very essential for reliable ON-OFF operation of the Controller.
- If the sensor receive sufficient light from the Street light it may result is Cyclic
ON-OFF
It is best to mount the sensor on the Bottom surface of the Panel in which this Controller is enclosed. This way it will be pointing the ground level and will be in Shadow region of the Street light.
