Specific Gravity Separator is specially meant for upgrading of the product quality i.e. Seed/Grain etc. by separating the impurities on the basis of the difference in specific Gravities which are otherwise of the same shape & size. The impurities which are of the same shape & size as of the required quality product i.e. Grain/Seed etc. and having different specific Gravity can not be separated by Air Screen Seed Cleaners, Graders, Length Separators because these graders, CleanA ers & separators work on the principle of separation(grading) on the basis of difference in physical parameters like shape, size & weight.

Principle of Operation:
Identical size grains are fed continuously on Deck surface through Feed Hopper providing a uniform layer of grains over the Deck surface. A uniform pressurized air from Blowers stratifies the light material to the top of the product bed & heavy material to contact the deck surface. The deck is inclined from side to side & input end to output end at adjustable angles. The deck itself is powered by a fully balanced eccentric drive which moves the Deck at a low amplitude & high frequency uphill.
