Key Features
Sodium Silicate also called Water Glass is a mixture of sodium oxide (Na2O) with silica sand (SiO2) and water. We manufacture sodium silicate using the furnace route method to produce different grades of sodium silicate. A mixture of Sodium Carbonate or Soda Ash (Na2CO3) and Silica sand (SiO2) is fused in the furnace at a temperature of more than 1100oc to give sodium silicate in glass form that easily dissolved in hot water to get sodium silicate in liquid form.
Sodium silicate finds wide application in textile industries, cement, and passive fire protection and in automobiles. We manufacture a huge range of sodium silicates and industrial grade sodium silicates as per customer specifications.
