Sodium Hypochlorite
Sodium hypochlorite is a clear, slightly yellowish solution with a characteristic odor. Sodium hypochlorite as a bleaching agent extensively used for domestic applications, it contains 5% sodium hypochlorite (with a pH of around 11, it is irritating). Sodium hypochlorite is unstable and a strong Oxidizir that reacts with flammable compounds and reductors. Sodium hypochlorite solution is a weak base that is inflammable.

The application areas of sodium hypochlorite are mentioned below:
- 12% solution is used for the chlorination of water
- 15% solution is used for disinfection of waste water in treatment plants
