Small Modular Tank Sensor

The Small Modular Tank Sensor (sMTS) is part of the modular building set for fuel supply units. It determines the fuel level in the tank.
The changing fuel level in the tank moves the float up (during refueling) or down (during operation). The float is fixed at a lever that moves a contact on a thick film potentiometer which causes a change in resistance. This signal is passed to the fuel gauge in the instrument cluster.
