Two, three or four pair of oversized shafts support the drawing cones, which are all on a straight line for a better wire path and easy control of dies alignment. Each cone consists of 2 to 8 scaled rings made of steel with tungsten carbide coating with mirror finish.

Now The final pulling capstan is divided from the wet section of the machine by a vertical steel bulkhead and has an internal water cooling circuit too. The machines are provided with a wire threading capstan connected with the first cone.
