Sliding Rheostat

The Industrial type heavy-duty sliding rheostats are basically silicon coated and open type. In these types, one or more Silicon coated Resistor is used, as these heavy duty industrial type sliding Rheostats are used were the current has to be adjusted (increased or decreased) frequently and it is done through Hand operated pushing knobs or Rotating type wheel with handle connected to threaded rods. After the manufacturing process, using the perfect ohmic value two or more Resistors are combined together to reach the required value and then they are assembled in the suitable mounting brackets made of Aluminium or Mild Steel and sliding arrangements are provided as per customer specification. The Resistors are manufactured under strict supervision on each step of process i.e. right from selection of tube to the perfect size, selection of wires to attain the perfect value, the winding process, and finally the insulation and coating process by experienced engineers.
