A flux for slag coagulation on steel, cast iron and non-ferrous for the prevention of build up on walls of ladles and induction furnaces. Slags are formed on the surface of the metal in the ladle, some is poured in with the iron from the cupola or induction furnace, some comes from the ladle lining, some from ladle additions. Scrap is often caused when these slags are carried into the casting during the pour. SLAG 30 will dry up and agglomerate slag on the surface of metal to facilitate its removal from ladles of steel ,grey, white or S.G Irons and will prevent build up on walls of induction furnaces.
