Voltage regulation: A self excited, self regulated voltage regular mounted on A.C. Generator forms an Integral part of the A.C. Generator. Standard voltage regulation for balanced load is +5% of normal from no load to full load, between 0.8 P.F. lagging to unity P.F. at 4% speed variation closer regulation can be obtained on special request.

Stator frames of A.C. Generators are of Mild steel plate allowing ample room for cooling air across the lamination. Stator Coils are spill fully wound with magnet wire.
