Semi Permanent Mold Release

Semi Permanent Mold Release is special designed for Composite industry. DL-651 is excellent for Epoxy, Phenolic and Polyester release.

By use of the hydro bond of DL-651 and metal oxide, DL-651 will form a thin film
On mold surface, which is chemical inert and with lubricity.
Composite is easily released until the protect film washed out.

DL-651is the third generation release agent.
Processing:
1. To clean mold surface with clean solvent and wiped with clean paper until no oil feeling.
2. To apply DL-651 by spaying or brush in even until a thin film formed on mold surface.
(Generally, 3 coat is necessary for a new cleaned mold)
3. To heat the mold to 100degree C for 30'( or 120 x20')
4. To start production until fell little difficult to release.
5. To repeat step 2 and 3
6. Start production

Generally, to repeat step 2 & 3 during shift in turn can get the best performance.
If the process is difficult to heat the mold. DL-651M is modified to meet the ambient curing process.

Storage: To avoid fire and high temperature area.
