Key Features
The component is loaded on top surface of M/C. The tool face is brought in line with surface to be machined and set for required depth of cutting. On pressing cycle start push button spindle rotates and tool moves out in rapid to set distance and changes over to set slow feed and outward movement of tool does the facing operation.
After completion of facing operation the lapping plate is fixed to the tool holder face and on starting the spindle rotation feed is given for lapping the face to achieve required finish.
