Ferrous & non ferrous metals scraps have oil, water, dirt, dust accompany the charge causing fumes & additional power is wasted for burning these impurities. Such scrap material is normally loaded into buckets, bottom openable ladles etc. These can be pre heated to red hot using dedicated or normal ladle pre heaters. Suitable schemes can be provided on request.
