Sand-water Separator

Following are the Working Principle of Sand-Water Separator :-
1) First open electric while operating. The sand-contained water flows into the sand-water separator from the inlet pipe A following the way of tangent line to form axial cyclone. The sand settles down in the direction of central sand hopper by self-gravity and centrifugal force (produced by cyclone)
2) Further separation is realized through specific gravity deviation between sand and water after setting for several minutes, then open electric in turn. The separated water discharges via the outlet pipe B by controlling the discharging time difference of the electric valve with different height.
3) Then open electric , the accumulated sand in the sand hopper discharges into the separating device at the bottom, the sand is then intercepted through the separating device. The separated water is discharged through the outlet pipe C, and finally realizes the separation of sand and water.

2. Scope of Application
This sand-water separator can be widely used for the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater. It also can be used for the separation of solids from turbid circulating water, sand washing water and coal washing water, etc.
The sand-water separator plays a role in the pre-treatment of wastewater with effective separation of high-specific-gravity and visible solid sediments, which guarantees the normal operation of the follow-up process.
