Rotating-drum Grid

Rotating-Drum Grid is a new high-efficiency waste removal grid with the integrated functions of pollutants intercepting, slag removal (by tooth harrow), screw lifting and press dewatering.

1.Scope of Application
It is widely applied for the treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater, which can effectively remove the floating and suspended matters in water

2.Working Principle
The wastewater flows from the top of deckbase, and then flows through the screen. The solid matters with different particle size in wastewater (floating matters, sediments, suspended matters) is intercepted and separated based on the corresponding space between screen gaps. The filter residue on the screen has an additional filtering effect on the other solid matters.

The resistance increases with the accumulation of filter residue on the screen surface. The mechanical device starts to work and the deckbase rotates automatically when the water level (before deckbase) reaches a certain value. During rotation, the filter residue is scoured into funnel (installed in the center of deckbase) by the help of brush and flushing water. Then the filter residue is delivered into the closed lifting screw pipe through the central stranding cage. After that, the filter residue is further transmitted, pressed, dewatered in the screw pipe. Finally, the disposed residue is sent to storage container for centralized treatment. The solid content in the disposed residue can reach 40%-45%.
