The chamber is made from one piece molded (GRP) glass reinforced plastic of high strength and excellent corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. The roof unit is made of transparent polymer material for ease in examination of samples under test. Internal dimensions are approx. 845 x 655 x 865 mm, holding volume approx. 450 litres and 128 nos. standard panels of typical size 150 x 100 mm. The equipment is intended to carry out accelerated corrosion tests conforming to world standards such as ASTM.
