Rubber Proofed Ceramic Cloth, Rubber Proofed Ceramic Tape
Product Description: Ceramic Cloths & Tapes are coated with good quality rubber proofing for resiliency & flexibility. Proofed products, due to excellent flow characteristics, are excellent sealing materials where the flange surfaces are not machined and uniform. It yields a perfect seal in uneven & rough surface under low pressure applications. Moreover, proofed products, under high temperature conditions allows the rubber compound to vulcanize and provide a hard joint for efficient sealing.
Applications: An all purpose sealing material for manhole, hand-holes, head-holes, Inspection covers of boilers, tanks & pressure vessels, retort doors, other applications against air, water, steam & mild alkalis.
HITECH Style CTP-2370 is specially recommended for sealing doors of hot ovens & fireproof safes, hot air ducts, panels and cowlings.
