Opkon RTL 100 Linear Scale is a linear potentiometer type measuring device designed for industrial applications. It has a measuring stroke of 100 mm and provides accurate position feedback. The housing is made of metal and plastic with a compact square design of about 33 mm by 33 mm. It works with supply voltage up to 28 volt DC and has a resistance value of 10 kilo ohm. The device offers high repeatability less than 0.01 mm and linearity accuracy of plus minus 0.2 percent for 100 mm stroke. It has infinite resolution and a long mechanical life of more than 100 million movements. The scale operates in a temperature range from minus 20 degree Celsius to plus 80 degree Celsius and is protected with IP65 rating making it dust proof and water resistant. It is available in red and black color and weighs about 500 grams. It is suitable for industrial automation, position control, hydraulic machinery and measurement systems.
