* Precision Steel Component.
* Steel grade BS970:N:2 CTIMO28 is used duly tested for chemical analysis, ultrasonic standard SA578levelA for flawless basic raw material. EN1030:3.1c Test certificate.
* This is used to lock a huge Rotor Shaft Assembly in position in the windmill generator as and when required.
* Requisite heat treatment is of importance to achieve the right tensile strength as also the toughness of the component required which is specified in terms of elongation percentage. Since the components cannot undergo destructive test, NDT is carried out by way of representative test bar sample testing which undergoes critical inspection/Test under the universal testing machine. Such tests/inspection is being carried out in standard and reputed engineering cum metallurgical laboratories.
