At least the finishing mill should be in continuous configuration because the surface area to weight ratio is high, the bar is cooling fast, the mill speeds are high, the chances of mis-roll in the repeater is more.

The most cost effective way to have continuous configuration at the finishing mill is by installing a One Input Three output Gear Boxa , coupled with one AC motor, driving four finishing mill stands. There is one oval repeater followed by three continuous a Roller bearing Mill Standsa .
