Roasted bentonite granules are basically bentonites in granular form. It is typically have mesh size of about 10 to 60 such as 10:20, 20:40, 30:60 or any other size as per customer requirement. These particle size granules are roasted in a rotory kiln under controlled parameters.

The bentonite found in the korvi region of India is of igneour origin. It was formed millions of year ago possibly from volacnic ash falling in stagnant salinwater in semi-arid conditions. Due to the natural characteristics of these particular ashes the chemical composition of these bentoonite is some what different from bentonite available from different part of the world. Most of these deposits are of natural calcium bentonite with lower iron content. Below are the various industrial applications of roasted bentonite granules.

* Lube oil / black oil refining : Roasted granules are used in the re-refining of black oils, refining of transformer oils.
* It used in refining of ATF & HSD in morex plant of petroleum refinery.
