Features:-
Tensile Strength:50% up to 28 days and wound support up to 60 days, this assures tissue support during the critical wound healing period and where extended wound support is required and helps saf closure of then tissue.
Absorption: RELYON PDS does not have collagn protiens,pyrogenous agents and its absorption is through hydrolysis, thus providing MINIMAL TISSUE REACTION. Absorption takes place through "progressive hydrolytic action" complete in 180 days.

Handling: Excellent comfort while handling(smooth passage through tissue) and enhances firm and safe knotting.

Indecations/Applications: It is indicated in all surgical procedures that absorbable sutures are recommended. These include Obstetrics & Gynaecological Surgery, Ophthalmic Surgery, Urology, Plactic Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery and General Closure. Sizes 1-0 to 3-0 with various needle combinations are available.
RELYON PDS suture is a monofilament suture made of Ploydioxanone.
