Lambda Cyhalothrin 10% WP
Insecticide
For public health and household use only. Not to be used on any food
crop. Lambda cyhalothrin WP is a broad spectrum insecticide for use as
a residual spray against adult vector mosquto of public health
importance and for control of mosquito, houseflies and cockroach. The
active ingredient lambda cyhalothrin is a novel synthetic pyrethroid
developed as a result of extensive research.

Direction of Use
Revenge is intended for dilution in water for application as a residual
spray using conventional compression sprayer or stirup pump commonly
used in malaria containment progaramme by public health agencies. The
application is carried out at a pressure of 40 psi. in case of
compression sprayer, half-fill the sprayer with 5 lit of clean water
put the water soluble sachet or empty the whole polythene pack or put
in the required quantity of revenge as directed above. Stir vigorously
with a rod for one minute to mix powder suspension in water. Add
remaining 5 litre of water to fill the sprayer. Stir again for one
minute. The suspension is now ready for spray with the stirup pump. The
10 litre suspension is enough to cover the surface area of 500 sq. m.
Precautions
- Keep away from foodstuffs, empty foodstuff containers and animal food.
- Avoid contact with mouth, eyes and skin.
- Avoid inhalation of the spray mist. Spray in the direction of wind.
- Wash thoroughly the contaminated clothes and parts of body after spraying.
- Do not smoke drink, eat and chew anything while spraying.
- Wear full protective clothing while mixing and spraying.
Symptoms of poisoning
Nervousness, anxiety, tremor convulsions, skin allergies, sneezing, running nose and irritation may occur.
First-Aid
- If swallowed, induce vomiting.
- If clothing and skin are contaminated, remove the clothes and wash the contaminated skin with copious amount of soap and water.
- If eyes are contaminated, flush with plenty of saline clean water for about 10 to 15 minutes.
- If inhaled, remove the paitient to fresh air
Antidote
No specific antidote is known, Treat symptomatically. Antihistamines may be given to control allergies.
Storage
Thepackages containing the insecticide shall be stored in seperate
rooms or premises away from the rooms or premises used for storing
other articles particularly articles of food orshall be kept in
seperate alrmirahs under lock and key depend up on the quantity and the
nature of the insecticide.
The rooms or premises meant for storing the insecticide shall be well
bult, dry, well lit and ventilated and of sufficient dimentions to
avoid contamination with vapour.
Disposal of Containers
- Pcakages or surplus materials and washings from the machines and
containers shall be disposed off in a safe manner. So as to prevent
environment or water pollution. - The used packages shall not be left outside to prevent their reuse.
- Packages shall be broken and burried away from the habitation.
