Salient features:

Easy arc striking: The machines are design for easy arc striking with any type of electrode

Unique circuitry to sense the output current and initiate compensatory action. Especially useful to limit current surge arising during arc striking for preventing burnt through and to limit control current in a no load a condition.

Build in safeguards :

All units are thermostatically protected against overload or overheating due to fan failure or inadequate cooling. In addition, special surge suppressor devices protect the control circuitry from voltage spikes.

Easy to maintain:

Since the rectifiers are static machines with no moving parts except for the cooling fan, maintenance requirements are negligible.

Gouging:

Higher current capacity model 500 & 600 are also ideal for carbon arc goughing applications.

Power factor correction:
Often, the electric supply authorities are particular about the power factor of the equipment installed in their area. As rectifier type welding machines have inherently low power factor, the use of power factor correction capacitors is recommended

Remote control unit:

For easy control of welding current by the operator. Can be carried to welding stations in difficult positions so that the welding current can be adjusted from the work place itself.
