SPEED418 is an innovative Loop/RCD tester designed to perform Global Earth Resistance test without RCDs' tripping directly on sockets. It is also suitable for all RCDs' tests on trip out time and current both manually and automatically on electrical installations in compliance with standards (VDE0100, BS7671 etc..). Another important test is Loop impedance measurement with high resolution (0.1mOhm) (with optional accessory IMP57). The Loop/RCD tester SPEED418 is very user-friendly, extremely rugged thanks to its newest electronic range selector. Moreover the instrument permits to carry out main measurements by using a special remote switch probe (optional accessory PR400) particularly useful to perform several tests in rapid succession. A contextual on-line help menu selectable by user is available for each function so granting information during connection between tester and installations. A wide internal memory permits saving any measurement and later transferring them to PC via serial port and software. Each measurement can be saved with all sub-results and test parameters as well as with two ID locators (selectable by user) in order to better trace the exact point where measurement was performed.
