Product Description : * Color mark: Green (WP/EWP) * Diameter: 0.5 - 10.0mm, 0 .040" (1.0mm), 1/16" (1.6mm), 3/32" (2.4mm), 1/8" (3.2mm) and 5/32" (4.0mm) * Length: 6'' (150mm), 7''(175mm) * Quality of surface: ground finish, polish finish Applications: Pure tungsten electrodes (AWS classification EWP) contain 99.50 percent tungsten, have the highest consumption rate of all electrodes, & typically are less expensive than their alloyed counterparts. These Pure Tungsten electrodes form a clean, balled tip when heated and provide great arc stability for AC welding with a balanced wave. Pure tungsten also provides good arc stability for AC sine wave welding, especially on aluminum & magnesium. It is not typically used for DC welding because it does not provide the strong arc starts associated with Thoriated or ceriated electrodes.
