Bluthane PU-Resins are solutions of medium to high molecular weight polyurethane or polyurethane polyurea with or without terminal reactive groups. Bluthane PU-R resins can be crosslinked with polyisocyanates for 2-K coatings and adhesive applications.
Bluthane PU-R resins when formulated as coatings provide a surface film which have excellent properties due to their high modulus, flexibility, impact strength, resistance to aqueous solutions, fuels, oils and chemicals, light, weathering and corrosion resistance.
Bluthane PU-R resin based adhesives possess good fluidity to wet irregular surfaces, both synthetic and natural, and are excellent binders which can be cured to high molecular weight chains as a result of increased hydrogen bonding or strong covalent adhesive bonds.
