The lower plate shall be of ROLLON SLIDEWAY material appropriately bonded on to the carbon steel plate, the upper plate shall be made of 1.5MM thick stainless steel (SS 304) tack welded to the backing carbon steel plates. The assembly is so developed that upper plate is larger than the lower plate by an amount in surplus of the expected movement, so keeping the contact area constant throughout the cycle of motion.
