Production Process
AAC is produced from five raw materials: silica sand, lime, cement, gypsum and water, combined with an expansive agent. The special combination of these materials provides a material with excellent construction properties such as structural strength, lightness, thermal insulation and fire resistance.

The production process for AAC begins by grinding sand and quartz. The mixture is blended with lime and cement; it is then mixed with water and the expansive agent, and cast in metallic molds. The expansive agent reacts with the elements and the mixture expands forming thousands of independent bubbles or air cells that are uniformly distributed throughout the mass.
